Past Projects
Satellite crop monitoring
Client performs AI evaluation of satellite images to monitor crop growth, productivity and fire hazards for farm crops.
Determination of crop productivity is primarily based on spectral analysis of key minerals.
However, variance in reflectance levels of key spectra is greater than variance in composition of soil and organic matter.
Working with our client, we determined the key causes of variance are due to both atmospheric and dust effects.
We co-created a standard illuminant to be placed in the fields to calibrate away the variance caused by atmospheric and dust effects. Allowing a cost effective method to improve accuracy of monitoring.
MOSAIC Industrial Camera
Machine vision is increasingly important in the information era. Working with the latest image processors from Nvidia and Sony STARVIS Sensors, we have developed a scalable camera system. Sensor package size as small as 2cm by 1cm with 4K resolution is possible.
Image stitching to create gigapixel level resolution for zoomable widefield can also be achieved with our scalable solution.
